10/8 Yesterday would have been John Lennons' 72nd birthday. I was explaining it to a few of my music students, who he was, what he stood for, how he was murdered. A sad story indeed. I remember that cold day in December, 1980. Ugh, the sadness.

The fall calendar is looking good, football season is upon us, playoff baseball soon to come. My sincere thanks to all of you who come to the gigs and support live music venues. We can't do it without you.

7/26...It's been a rockin' summer so far. Check out some pics from Festival Square in Middletown, NY last week. My thanks to Herb Doll, a great photographer. Check out his stuff at www.photosbysack.com It rained all day, but we got the show in. This coming week my ass kicking band will be at The Orange County Fair in Middletown on Friday 7/27. On Saturday, we'll be at The Bounty on The Hudson Wine Event, hosted this year by Applewood Winery, for more info, check out www.applewoodwinery.com then I'll be on to Fratello for a solo acoustic gig. Sunday the band is doing a private party for a great friend of mine in Greenwood Lake. I thank you for checking out my site and supporting live music in The Hudson Valley.

6/21... Hey folks, yesterday was the longest day of the year. It was still light out at 9PM, what a trip. Lasat night I went up to Brians Backyard BBQ to jam with Lee Delray, awesome night. My brother Jeff is visiting from another galaxy, so he's been playin' along on harp, sounding good.
Last saturday, we played at the St. Anthonys Hospital community fundraiser. My thanks to Michelle (Shelly) Ewanciw for making us feel at home. Piet Koster was awesome on stand up bass.
Today, 6/21 is the 4th Annual Warwick Teacher Appreciation Nite at The Dautaj. The fun starts at 6PM, so come on down and show our teachers some love, maybe even shake a tail feather too!

6/11...They say there's a first time for everything. Yesterday, I played Hava Nigila at the 65th anniversary party for Temple Beth Shalom in Florida, NY. Wow, what a great time. I'm grateful that they didn't put me in the chair! We had a good time at Rhodes last Thursday. I think we'll be back there again on the weekend coming up soon. We played Smokeys on Saturday, they expanded the stage area to give more room for dancing. Smokeys pizza and ribs can't be beat. They have partnered with Fav's Treatery in Florida, NY...bringing in the sweetest sweets imaginable.

6/5...So sad to hear the news of the passing of friend and fellow musician, Gil Cruz on 6/2. He played bass with so many people for over 40 years. I just played a few tunes with him at The Waterwheel Cafe in Milford, PA on 5/24. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Chris. Gil will surely be missed.

5/1...I'm proud to announce a new partnership with Poseidon Entertainment Agency.

As it turns out, the owner is an old friend of mine from Long Island. See my calendar page for dates. Also, this means I'll most definitely be playing out on Long Island this summer with my band. Can't wait to play out there, catch up with old friends.
